What is permanent jewelry?

Violet Moon Permanent Jewelry are dainty bracelets, anklets, and necklaces that are custom fit and welded onto you without a clasp!

I use a quick and painless micro-welding technique to connect the ends without a clasp. Your permanent jewelry requires no maintenance, so you can sparkle effortlessly everyday!

Does permanent jewelry hurt?

Not at all! I use a micro-welder to join the two ends of your chain without a clasp. It's a quick process that is fun and totally painless!

Do I need an appointment to get permanent jewelry?

An appointment is highly recommended to save your spot, but I will try to accommodate walk-ins! Please schedule your appointment here.

How is Violet Moon Jewelry different than other permanent jewelers?

Many other permanent jewelers use jump rings in their pieces because it's easier and faster. Thanks to my years of experience in the jewelry business, I weld my permanent jewelry without jump rings because I like when you have a continuous piece and can't tell where it ends and begins! This adds to the symbolism of your forever bracelet.

What metals do you use for the permanent bracelets, anklets, and necklaces?

I use 14k solid yellow and rose gold, sterling silver, and 14k gold fill for your permanent jewelry so there's something for everyone.

I recommend the solid gold options: since they're permanent, we want them to sparkle without needing to polish them! Solid gold is also more durable than other metal options.

What is the cost?

This depends on the chain you choose and whether you would like a bracelet, anklet, or necklace.

I accept credit cards, Venmo, and Afterpay, so you can pay in 4 interest-free installments.

The appointment deposit of $40 is applied to the bracelet purchase.

How long will my permanent jewelry stay on?

Your pieces will stay on for as long as you'd like! If for some reason you would like to remove your jewelry, simply cut the chain and save it if you'd like me to re-weld it in the future.

What if my chain breaks?

Because your piece has no clasp and is measured to perfectly fit your wrist, ankle or neck, it should not break. However, if it does break, please save your chain and I'm happy to re-weld it for you at no cost.

If the chain is missing, a new chain will need to be purchased.

Can I go through airport security with permanent jewelry?

Absolutely! TSA does not ask you to remove fine jewelry, so you'll be able to take your permanent jewelry with you on all your adventures!

Can I get an MRI with a permanent bracelet, anklet, or necklace?

Your permanent jewelry should be removed before an MRI. Save your chain and I can re-weld it for you!

Who should not get permanent jewelry?

Those with pacemakers should not get permanent jewelry because of the welding process.

Allergies to solid gold, sterling silver, and gold fill are rare, but those with allergies should not get permanent jewelry.

Can I hire you for my next event?

Absolutely! I would love to help you celebrate your special event with a permanent jewelry party!

I'm a minor. Can I get a piece of permanent jewelry?

I'm happy to weld a permanent bracelet, anklet, or necklace on anyone over the age of 10. Those under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I give permanent jewelry as a gift?

Absolutely! I would recommend purchasing a gift card for the desired amount here.
